Real Life

This happened on the way to Toronto.

We had to transit in Dulles Airport, Washington D.C. The first thing I did after alighting at Dulles was to empty a very full tank. It was just as I started that these 2 HUGE men came up on either side of me to use the neighbouring urinals.
For the misinformed, there is a common unsaid understanding among guys to always leave at least an empty urinal between you and the next person. It's our code. The exeptions are if you really know the next guy, or there's a long line. Neither was the case this time.
It could be I was too small to be noticed, hence I became the empty space. My bladder made sure I couldn't move out of the way as fast as I wanted to.

It's only funny because nothing weird happened.

Ouch

Watch the secondary action and follow through! I think its amazing how much our faces can change in such a short time. Watch out for the smoking guy who got it right in the jaw..ouch!

Draw your younger self meme

Joining in the fun. Although I can't say I changed a whole lot (then i liked to). Apparently, I went a full circle to look like myself at 15, in school uniform....

We're off to see the wizard

I'm going off to visit Sheridan next week. Hopefully, I'll come back without gaining any regrets. Heh
Shouldn't affect this blog much, its not like I update too often anyway..~
Above is a draft for a sorta signature thing. I guess its a little too complex to be called a logo. I'm not sure if you can see it, but she's suppose to be a letter 'K'. (Her pose is kinda how i sign my K's, with that right arm hanging down) Still in progress, will figure out what that plank suppose to be and add in the 'EE's

Yay..?

Hey hows it hanging?
So after all that hard work, I finally got into Sheridan. Its great, the feeling of a job well done, but on the whole its a 'lil bittersweet.
Well, it doesn't hit you till u get it, but I realise I'm gonna be leaving everyone behind, which sucks. All this for a shot at an imaginary better future..hah.. I'm also gonna have to explore it on my own, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little scared lol.
It's gonna be a little lonely, but there's nothing left but to try.

Oh, the above were some pieces from my portfolio. I would put all, but there's just too many for blogger to handle haha

Not dead yet

Things ain't going according to plan so far. So I'm not exactly singing in my heart. Just racking up more dissapoinments for karma to toss me a bone. Like a friend said, "It just makes the 'Screw you!' sweeter."

Started going for life drawing sessions with a friend recently. Really enjoying it so far, its bringing the fun back. Although I wish there were more artists around, it does feel a little weird when there's only a couple artists doing their thing.

That last one suppose to be somthing for the ongoing UDON competition. It seems to be taking the internet by storm, seeing it almost everywhere. Just playing around with an idea for my piece.

Down from the mountain

The last few months for me was intense. A rollercoaster ride of events that really made my psyche a total mess. I'm still on that ride. Hmm, where to start.

The short story is that I had ALOT of hard decisions to make concerning my current and future situation, most which kept returning to make me re-evaluate them. What's left is me feeling like a player who forgot to save a game a few levels into the final boss. The 'what ifs' and 'why nots' haunting me like a bad cold.

Hmm, I'm probably just being too melodramatic. Oh well..

My portfolio deadlines are approaching, and I'm pretty much done. It doesn't feel the same when you're not rushing to meet the deadline, like you could do more in the remaining time. But I'm not complaining, it feels better than the manic rush. I definately think I can do better, but not in the short period of time that's left.

That said, its not like I didn't try. The following are the stuff that didn't quite make it into my folio. All in glorious roughs and half-dones.
